Neda Agha Soltan Slain in Tehran, Iran June 20, 2009




Iranian security officials have begun pulling down posters of Neda Agha Soltan, the young woman who has become the face of the country's proRelatives said images of Neda Agha Soltan, 27, who has been described as Iran's "Angel of Freedom" after she was apparently shot dead on Saturday, had been targeted by plain-clothed officials. -democracy uprising after her death in Tehran was captured on video.
A bullet hit her heart and her lung, and maybe 5 or 6 minutes later, she died."
While officials have imposed harsh restrictions on the woman's family, they were not asked – as other families of victims claimed – for the £1,800 "bullet price" to compensate the state for the cost of the security operation that cost their lives.
Neda Salehi Agha-Soltan[2] (Persian: ندا آقا سلطان - Nedā Āġā-Soltān; born 1982, died June 20, 2009 was an Iranian woman whose killing, during the 2009 Iranian election protests, was captured on video by bystanders.[6] The graphic videos were posted on the Internet, and her name quickly became a rallying cry for the opposition.[6] Neda means "voice" or "calling" or "Divine message" in Persian, and she has been referred to as the "voice of Iran" and "a symbol of pro-democracy protesters battering the Islamic regime" in the world Her last name has also been spelled as Soltani in some media reports.
On June 20, 2009, at around 6:30 PM, Agha-Soltan, a student of Islamic philosophy,was sitting in her car in traffic on Kargar Avenue in the city of Tehran, near the Amir-Abad area, accompanied by her music teacher and close friend, Hamid Panahi. The two were on their way to participate in the protests against the outcome of the 2009 Iranian presidential election. Having gotten out of the car because of the excessive heat, she was allegedly targeted and shot in the chest by plain-clothes Basij paramilitaries who were attempting to subdue the protesters. Agha-Soltan's last words were:

"I'm burning, I'm burning!"

World Political Analysis President Barack Obama Visit to Egypt

President Barack Obama after arriving from Saudi Arabia he paid Egypt A visit for 8 hours during which he delivered a historic speech at Cairo University first of its kind by sitting American president. The purpose of the speech was to build bridges of understanding between the United States and the Islamic world of little less than 1.5 billion people spanning the globe. President Barack Obama in his good well visit he wanted to open new chapter of friendship or at least attempt to erase any mistrust or misunderstanding between the US and the Muslim countries. President Barack Obama addressed the audience with the familiar greeting of Islam Al-Salam Alikum. The speech avoided the heavy rhetoric’s and inflammatory language as Islamic terrorists and such. Barack Obama stressed his determination to find a solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that kept simmering since 1948 with no abatement. He declared his opposition to the Israeli settlements and in the mean time he called on the Palestinians to accept Israel in the frame of two countries solution. President Barack Obama acknowledged the contributions of Muslims in America and expressed his understanding of their concern of the difficulty of performing the Zakat obligation, referring to the closing of many charitable organizations in the US .

Some other aspects of the speech was he emphasis that the relation between the US and Muslims around the world should be based on mutual interest and mutual respect.

In addition he stated that: the colonialism cold war had denied rights and opportunities to Muslims.

Obama quoted from the Quran and introduced him self using full name including Husain to reflect his Islamic heritage from his father side through many generations.

He also praised Islam’s contributions to civilization.

He referred to the war in Iraq as a war of choice alluding to it was a necessary war.

He further admonished the Muslims extremists who commit violence and murder as violating the teachings of Al-Quran.

The Word Terrorism The Foot Ball Between the Republicans and Barack Obama

The Republicans keeps attacking President Barack Obama because he avoided using the word "Terrorism" during his speech at Cairo University 20,000 packed people.
This is absolute genius from Barack Obama, mentioning such word would have been frontal confrontation. At such scenario some in the audience may consider Israel as the terrorist country others may go far to call the terrorist country.
So instead of Barack Obama will be received doubts about his sincerity will be questioned. Some may think he is talking from high pedestal and looking down upon them from position of superiority.
